Link-Up Meetups were created with the intention to give the community a fun and safe space to "link-up" , network, and meet new people.

Support Local Businesses

For every meetup, a new local business is chosen as the meetup spot for us to attend. When we "link together" and patronize our local businesses, it helps keep the dollar circulating in our community and helps the small businesses that we adore stay open.

Have fun in your city!

The phrase, "There is nothing to do." is often thrown around in our community because of the lack of awareness about all the cool things right under our nose. However, the Link-Up Meetups give us an opportunity to try something new, link ourselves to new places, meet new people, and HAVE FUN!

What started out as a platform to give digital marketing tips to fellow entrepreneurs turned into a page of Ashley documenting her adventures eating, traveling and exploring her city, Birmingham, Al. Ashley wanted to inspire others to get outside and explore. After gaining a lot of views on her tiktok page, a group of people in her community looking for things to do in the area began to form. This led to her proposing an idea to organize a meetup and this is how the LINK-UP MEETUP was created!
